Using this website
You may browse this website for information about our services. You agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that is unlawful or harmful
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
- Copy, scrape, or reuse our content or design without permission
- Interfere with the site’s normal operation
We may update or withdraw content on this website at any time without notice.
Quotes & enquiries
Prices shown on this website (for example “from £400”) are indicative starting points, not fixed offers. A formal quote will set out scope, price, and timeline for your project.
Sending an enquiry does not create a contract. A contract is formed only when we both agree in writing (including email) to a quote or proposal.
Our services
When you engage North Lincs Web, the agreed quote or proposal will describe:
- What we will design and build
- What you will provide (content, logos, access, feedback)
- Fees, payment schedule, and estimated timeline
- Any ongoing care or hosting arrangements
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, website builds are one-off projects. Monthly care is optional and billed separately.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate business information, branding, and content in good time
- Ensuring you have the rights to any materials you supply (logos, photos, copy)
- Reviewing drafts and giving clear feedback within agreed timescales
- Complying with applicable laws for your own business and website content
Payment
Payment terms will be stated in your quote. Typically we may ask for a deposit before work starts and the balance before or on launch. Late payment may pause work or delay go-live.
Fees are in GBP unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Intellectual property
Until full payment is received, we retain ownership of designs, code, and materials we create for your project. On full payment, you receive a licence to use the finished website for your business, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
We may showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing, unless you ask us not to in writing.
Third-party tools, fonts, stock assets, or platforms (for example Shopify or hosting) remain subject to their own licences and terms.
Revisions & changes
Quotes include a reasonable number of revision rounds as described in the proposal. Extra work outside the agreed scope may be charged at an agreed rate or via an updated quote.
Launch, hosting & care
We will hand over the site as described in your quote. Ongoing hosting, domain renewal, and monthly care are only included if expressly agreed.
We are not responsible for third-party outages (hosting, DNS, email, payment providers) beyond our reasonable control.
Privacy & cookies
How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy, including cookie preferences and Google Fonts. Please read that policy alongside these Terms.
Disclaimer
This website is provided for general information. We aim to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete or up to date.
We design and build websites to help businesses get found and convert enquiries. We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic levels, or sales results, as these depend on many factors outside our control.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
Subject to that, our total liability arising from a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business, or loss of data, except where the law requires otherwise.
Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project as set out in the quote. Work completed up to cancellation remains payable. Deposits are non-refundable once design or build work has started, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims in their local courts where the law allows.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of this website after changes means you accept the updated Terms. For active client work, material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
